Test Description:KIT gene mutations are associated with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), mast cell disease, acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), and melanoma. Identification of mutations in KIT gene is clinically relevant for disease diagnosis, prognosis, and prediction of response to targeted treatments.
